The Sarah Douglas Hardship Fund exists to provide grants or loans to help UCL students overcome temporary hardship problems. It is named in memory of our friend and colleague Sarah Douglas, who worked at UCLU between 1988 and 2006 and dedicated her time here to improving the welfare of UCL students in so many different ways. Sarah died in December of last year following a ten month battle with cancer. She was an inspiring and caring person, who is greatly missed by many, many people.
Please join us to remember Sarah and to launch the Fund on Tuesday 3rd September, from 6 – 8pm, in the Phineas Bar (3rd floor, UCLU, 25 Gordon Street, WC1H 0AY).
To help us plan for the launch, please use the form below to let us know if you’d like to attend.
