The Consortium is planning to be very involved with the Community Area at World Pride 2012. We need up to 30 volunteers to help us run the lgbtlondon.com stall and support our Member organisations also in the Community area in Trafalgar Square. There are 2 types of opportunity:
- Event Volunteer (Consortium) – helping run the lgbtlondon.com stall on the day. Talking to the general public and signposting to Members’ services. Talking about the lgbtlondon.com website and Consortium’s volunteering opportunities. Helping Members with any printing needs, stationery requests, etc.
- Event Volunteer (Members) – helping run Members’ stalls on the day. Talking to the general public about the organisation’s activities. These roles will be allocated in pairs per stall.
The Consortium will run an induction day on Tuesday 3 July 2012 in Holborn at the main University of the Arts London building, this will run from 5pm to 7pm.
