There are six permanent staff members at the Volunteering Services Unit:
Oliver Peachey - Volunteering Administration & Partnerships Coordinator
Oliver has been a part of the VSU since 2007. He leads on the VSU’s brokerage service, maintaining and developing links with external partners, internal contacts and student volunteers. He also manages our team of Administrative Assistants and supervises student-led fundraising initiatives.

Glen Pickard - Volunteering Administrator
Glen recently joined the VSU in January 2013. He now leads on the one-off volunteering programme and manages arrangements for special VSU events, including the volunteering fair and awards ceremony.

Fiona Addison - Volunteering Development Coordinator
Fiona has been with the team since July 2008. She supervises student led projects (particularly those run through UCLU’s Clubs & Societies) and she provides the link between schools and the VSU.

Nadia Cole - Volunteering Development Coordinator
Nadia has been a part-time Volunteering Development Coordinator since 2007. She’s responsible for supervising student-led volunteering projects as part of the VSU Innovations Programme. She enjoys helping students to turn their ideas for a volunteering project ideas into reality.

Dee Davis - Volunteering Development Coordinator
Dee has been a member of staff in the Unit since 2003. She supervises a number of student led projects, supports UCLU’s Volunteering Society and assists with marketing and managing our team of student photographers. Dee also works with some of the College departments such as the Language Centre, Disability Services and International Office.

John Braime - Volunteering Manager
John has been manager of the Unit since it was set up in 2002. He’s responsible for managing the team, keeping an eye on the budget, and reporting back to UCL and UCLU about what we’ve been up to. He also supervises some of our student project leaders, oversees marketing and research, and liaises with other UCL departments about new projects.

We’re helped out by our talented team of student Administrative Assistants - Georgia, Stephanie, Melissa, Siân and Rebecca. You’ll usually find one of them at our reception desk, busily sending emails or inputting data.
In addition, our Drop In sessions are run by four student volunteers - Sevinc, Megdi, Yichun and Cynthia.
