UCLU Rights & Advice Centre

We are a free, confidential and independent advice and support service for all UCL students. Our trained and experienced advice caseworkers can give you advice about:

  • Immigration - including applying for your Tier 4 visa

  • Academic - including examination irregularities and student complaints

  • Housing - including contract check and housemate disputes

  • Money- including grants and funds

  • Employment - including unpaid wages and part time employment contracts

  • Many other legal and university matters

You can come to a drop in and speak to an adviser, or make an appointment to see us. We also give email advice.

Opening Times

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10 am - 1 pm & 2 pm - 4 pm

We are closed for lunch every day between 1pm and 2pm and on Wednesdays.

Drop in Times (no appointment needed)

Monday & Thursday     2 pm - 4 pm

Tuesday & Friday        10 am - 12 pm

As our drop-in sessions can get very busy we cannot guarantee that you will be seen by an adviser on the day. We work on a first-come-first-served basis. We would advise that you come as early as possible to be more likely to be seen.
