One of your objectives  for your year in office: Increase engagement- show every member of UCLU that the Union can play an essential part in the university experience and that any member can influence the Union.

Role: The Union Chair is responsible for ensuring that the Union runs in a fair and democratic manner. They act as Returning Officer who ensures that elections and referenda are run fairly. They also chair various Union meetings such as Union Council and Members’ Meetings.
