Question 2*: Do you agree that the Standing Orders available from this link should be adopted by the Union with effect from 1 August 2011?
* Note if you vote YES to Question 2, you will also agree to paragraphs 1 and 2 below which set out the transitional arrangements that are required to enable the new Standing Orders to take effect on 1 August 2011.
1. That the Spring Elections 2011 shall be held in such a manner as to allow the implementation of the Byelaws from 1 August 2011. In particular, individuals shall be elected to the officer posts referred to in the Byelaws using the mode of election set out in the Standing Orders.
2. Any questions that arise in relation to the Spring Elections 2011 or the transitional arrangements pending the Byelaws taking effect on 1 August 2011 shall be resolved by the Governance Committee.
