So, you’re planning to come to UCL in September 2014…
Congratulations on getting an offer from UCL. What lies ahead is a brilliant education at one of the world’s best universities, as well as all the experiences of studying right in the centre of London. We here at UCLU are here to help you make the most of that.
Throughout the Welcome period - and the year - UCLU host a wide range of events and activities to make sure you don’t spend all your time in the library. With the big club nights you might be expecting as well as a range of things you may not, from markets to West End shows, to comedy and quizzes, we have it all in store for you. Keep checking back for updates and new events as they are added!
We’ve planned a variety of club nights at some of London’s biggest venues including KOKO, Fabric and Ministry of Sound, but that’s not all; there are loads of other unbelievable nights lined up so do keep checking back for updates and new events as they are added.
You can tell your friends you’re going to our events on Facebook, too; find all our events on our Facebook page listings and click to say you’re going!
Over 230 clubs and societies as well as loads of local and national companies and organisations will have a stall at our Welcome Fair, which will take over the UCL Quad and main building on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September. You can also find out loads more about UCLU and what we do as well as how you can get involved in a campaign or being a volunteer or becoming an elected officer to represent your classmates.
Make the most of your time at UCL by volunteering with either one-off projects or regular commitments. The Volunteering Fair on Thursday 9 and 10 October from 12-3pm in the Cloisters will showcase loads of ways that you can get involved while you’re here.
